MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - Building on the continued success of its popular Club Sobeys program, Sobeys is ramping up its rewards program in Ontario with the introduction of the new No Fee BMO Club Sobeys MasterCard.  Now, shoppers will get greater instant savings off their everyday grocery purchases at checkout or treat themselves to exclusive rewards more often by accumulating additional Club Sobeys points in significantly less time.

Under an exclusive new partnership with BMO Bank of Montreal, the No Fee BMO Club Sobeys MasterCard has been designed to give shoppers the fastest way to earn Club Sobeys points.  When used for purchases at Sobeys stores in Ontario along with their Club Sobeys card, customers earn double the points - a total of two points for every dollar spent. Plus, they can accelerate their points earning by collecting one Club Sobeys point for every $1 spent everywhere else they use their card such as gas stations, movie theatres, restaurants - anywhere and everywhere that MasterCard is accepted. Customers signing up for the new No Fee BMO Club Sobeys MasterCard will receive a welcome bonus of 1,375 Club Sobeys points with their first card purchase - that's an immediate $10 off groceries at Sobeys stores.

In addition to ongoing exclusive cardholder offers throughout the year allowing them to earn Club Sobeys points faster, anyone who uses their No Fee BMO Club Sobeys MasterCard between September 10 and December 31, 2010 to pay for their groceries at Sobeys stores is eligible to win one of 25 prizes of $1,000 off their credit card statement.
