New President and Chief Executive Officer at the Association de l'industrie
électrique du Québec
MONTREAL, April 19 /CNW Telbec/ - The Association de l'industrie électrique du Québec (AIEQ) announces the arrival today of its new President and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Laplante.
Mr. Laplante brings practical experience to the Association. He has acted as advisor to several ministers, contributing as economist, press secretary and chief of staff. He has also worked as Chief Executive Officer and management consultant, promoting the interests of various associations and government-owned companies. Director, Economic and Government Affairs at the APCHQ since 2009, he has significant lobbying experience at both the federal and provincial levels. Mr. Laplante is familiar with issues currently faced by associations and is passionate about Quebec's economic development.
