Angela Mondou will serve as vital link between Military and Business Communities
TORONTO, March 3, 2014 /CNW/ - Canada Company, an organization that serves as a bridge between the men and women serving in Canada's Armed Forces and the corporate world, today announced the appointment of Angela Mondou as President. Ms. Mondou joins Canada Company with more than 19 years of experience in progressively senior roles with the Military and Canada's technology and telecommunications sector.
Ms. Mondou served as a Captain with the Royal Canadian Air Force for nine years before embarking on a successful career in the private sector. In her new role, Ms. Mondou will be responsible for managing Canada Company and leading initiatives that strengthen relationships between business and community leaders and those who serve in the Canadian Forces.
"We are very excited to have Angela assume this leadership role," said Blake C. Goldring, Founder and Chairman of Canada Company. "She has worked on both sides of the fence and has a great understanding of the differences between military and corporate cultures. This will be a tremendous asset as Canada Company continues to grow its presence within both communities."
Ms. Mondou is currently a Director with the Canadian Forces Liaison Council and will soon be recognized for her devotion and passion to bridging the gap between military and corporate Canada as the newly invested Honorary Colonel for the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace, Technology and Engineering. She is also the best-selling author of 'Hit the Ground Leading,' a book that provides leaders and entrepreneurs with the tools to build action plans to seize their leadership potential.
As President, Ms. Mondou replaces Peter Hart, who served as Managing Director since 2011. "Mr. Hart was instrumental in building Canada Company's profile within the business and military communities," said Mr. Goldring. "We thank him for his dedication and service to both our organization and Canada's Military."
