- All-star cast to be revealed on-air during live DANCING WITH THE STARS results show, Nov. 2 -
TORONTO, Oct. 26 /CNW/ - Celebrities have proven they can burn-up the dance floor, but can they melt an ice rink? CTV announced today that it will air SKATING WITH THE STARS, the new reality competition series from the creative team behind hit dance competition, DANCING WITH THE STARS. The six-episode series kicks-off with a live, two-hour premiere Monday, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, following the DANCING WITH THE STARS final performance show at 8 p.m.
SKATING WITH THE STARS pairs a celebrity with a world-class figure skater as they compete in front of a live audience in a televised ice skating showdown. Skating pairs are critiqued by a panel of expert judges and voted on by viewers. Each week, the couple who receives the lowest combined total of judge's points and audience votes is eliminated. The all-star cast of SKATING WITH THE STARS will be announced on-air during the live DANCING WITH THE STARS 90 minute results show on Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV (check local listings).
