New Trading Record set on TSX Venture Exchange

TORONTO, Oct. 14 /CNW/ - TMX Group Inc. today announced that the TSX Venture Exchange established a new record for daily volume yesterday, October 13, 2010.  Daily volume traded was 422,028,135, surpassing the previous record of 411,550,319 set on October 17, 2007.

YTD as of September 30, 2010, trading volume on TSX Venture Exchange is up 42% over the same period in 2009.

TSX Venture Exchange lists over 2,100 issuers and provides Canadian and international organizations with access to early-stage venture capital through public equity markets.
