Newly renovated medical imaging clinic expands service offerings in Edmonton
Canada Diagnostic Centres 109 Street is enhancing its service offerings in a state-of-the-art, patient focused clinic.
EDMONTON, Aug. 11, 2017 /CNW/ - Canada Diagnostic Centres newly renovated and expanded 109 Street clinic opens Monday, August 14th, 2017, providing patients with enhanced access to a wider variety of medical imaging services in a state-of-the-art, patient focused clinic.
The clinic, formerly known as Canada Diagnostic Centres- Breast Cancer Radiology, continues to offer the same preventative and diagnostic Breast Imaging services such as Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, and Interventional Procedures. In addition, the 109 Street clinic is now offering Pain Management, Ultrasound, and Bone Density services.

"This allows us to better serve the communities of central and south Edmonton with enhanced access to a variety of medical imaging services while still providing the same level of care to our Breast Centre Radiology patients."
109 Street is the only Canada Diagnostic Centres location in Edmonton offering Tomosynthesis – an advanced state of the art technology offered with certain mammograms. This 3D imaging technique allows for a clearer breast tissue visualization and greater accuracy in the detection of suspected tumors and masses.
In keeping with Canada Diagnostic Centre's reputation for "Exceptional Patient Care" and as Alberta's premier diagnostic imaging provider, the clinic offers 5 ultrasound rooms, 3 of which are strictly used for breast ultrasound, 1 Bone Density room, 2 Mammography rooms and 1 Fluoroscopy suite for Pain Management therapies.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 07:30 am to 5 pm and is located at 7121 109 St NW.
