NEWS ADVISORY - ACCES Employment workers to hold information picket
TORONTO, Sept. 13, 2017 /CNW/ - Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) members working at ACCES Employment will hold an information picket on Thursday to inform the public and elected officials about the drastic concessions that the employer is demanding.

The 100 members of Local 512 have been negotiating since January. The employer is seeking concessions that include lower wages and benefits for new workers, higher benefit copayments, and wage adjustments that fall short of the rate of inflation.
The non-profit agency, which helps individuals looking for employment, is funded by the governments of Ontario and Canada, as well as United Way Toronto and York Region.
