TORONTO, April 9, 2015 /CNW/ - Ontario drivers pay far too much for insurance, says a new study by York University Schulich School of Business Professors Fred Lazar and Eli Prisman. In 2013 alone, consumers likely overpaid by $840 million.
The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, which commissioned the report, calls for a review by Ontario's Auditor General.
Professor Lazar will brief the media on the study on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Marriott Eaton Centre Hotel in Toronto.
