NEWS ADVISORY - RALLY ON PENSION SECURITY

TORONTO, Sept. 20 /CNW Telbec/ - Hundreds of workers will march on Bay Street tomorrow at noon to demand reforms to the pension system that will bring about security for workers.

Delegates to the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union convention, many of whom have seen their pension plans decrease, are making the issue a central theme at their convention, being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this week. Following the rally, delegates will be developing an action plan to pressure employers and governments for reforms.
