TORONTO, Feb. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - Following the Toronto FC and Toronto Raptors games on Wednesday, March 7, GO Transit will run one extra train trip in either direction from Union Station along the Lakeshore lines.
These events are collectively expected to draw more than 55,000 people to downtown Toronto. To accommodate passengers, in addition to its regularly scheduled train and bus trips, GO Transit will run two special trains:
- An extra westbound Lakeshore West train making all stops to Aldershot GO Station will depart Union Station at 11:13 p.m.
- An extra eastbound Lakeshore East train making all stops to Oshawa GO Station will depart Union Station at 10:43 p.m.
