News Conference Advisory - HungerCount 2010 study will show number of people
helped by food banks continues to grow in Canada
OTTAWA, Nov. 9 /CNW/ - Food Banks Canada will release the findings of its HungerCount 2010 study next week.
HungerCount, initiated in 1989, is the only annual national report on hunger and food bank use in Canada.
This year's study provides data not available from any other source, and reveals new information about people needing help from food banks, and about food bank operations. Food Banks Canada spokespeople will situate levels of food bank use in the context of the wider economic climate.
