Ni2 secures a C$6-million-dollar investment from Desjardins Capital and strengthens its commercial presence worldwide Français
MONTRÉAL, April 16, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Ni2, a leading provider of Services and Operations Management software, today announced it has secured a C$6-million-dollar investment from Desjardins Capital, an equity firm with over C$2 billion of capital under management. The investment will allow Ni2 to accelerate its commercial operations and expand its market presence in North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as to strengthen its service and development teams in Montréal and in Liège, Belgium, where the company holds its European operation.
Ni2 is an innovative software company that develops and markets a software platform solution designed to help datacenter, network and communications service providers to run better and grow faster as they prepare for new technologies, such as the IoT and Big Data. Today, Ni2 is powering many large service providers around the globe, such as Maskatel (Canada), Aureon (USA), LightEdge (USA), Thales Group (France), TDF Telecom (France), Nethys (Belgium), and AIMS (Malaysia) among others.
"Our customers operate in a very competitive environment, where technology evolves rapidly, margins are slim and enterprise customers can easily switch providers. The only way they can succeed is by gaining visibility and control over their digital infrastructure, and delivering enhanced customer experience", says Joseph Hatchuel, CEO and co-founder of Ni2.
What makes the Ni2 Software unique is that it was designed from the start to be open and adaptable, making sure that service providers are able to manage all their resources, including network, IT, and data center, on one integrated software platform. The Ni2 platform provides complete visibility on how all resources are being utilized and how they make up the services being delivered to customers. In addition, Ni2's solution delivers out-of-the-box applications for effectively planning and designing new capacity, streamlining service fulfillment and offering better customer support.
"With features like graphical interfaces, impressive scalability and unique cross-domain features, Ni2 is at the forefront of new technologies. The company has created an innovative software platform that is being adopted by the next generation digital service providers", says Luc Ménard, Chief Operating Officer at Desjardins Capital. "As service providers look to diversify and expand to new markets, we see Ni2 as their technology partner of choice".
