Thousands of Canadians ran in the Nike+ Human Race 10K events across the country today.
The Nike+ Human Race debuted in 2008 with the purpose of celebrating runners and their sport while uniting athletes world-wide through the ultimate running experience. Many of the runners who participated in the race, also trained by using the tools provided at nikeplus.com, which has more than 2 million members worldwide. Members of this digital running club have logged more than 280 million kilometres.
