Nissan Canada Inc. Announces January 2010 Sales

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 2 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today released its January 2010 sales figures, recording the third-highest January ever, with a combined 4,975 units sold, up nearly 17 per cent from January 2009 .

Sales for the Nissan brand totaled 4,547 units in January, up nearly 18 per cent from same period last year, while the Infiniti brand accounted for 428 units sold, up nine per cent over the same period last year.

Altima led all Nissan models with 1,154 units sold, up 21 per cent from January 2009 , while Sentra, Maxima, Frontier, Xterra, Rogue, Pathfinder and Armada all showed strong year-over-year increases for the month.

For Infiniti, G led all sales with 229 units sold, up 38 per cent from the same period last year, while M, QX56 and FX each showed year-over-year increases for the month.
