Nissan Canada Inc. Announces May 2010 Sales Results
MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 1 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today released its May 2010 sales figures with 8,232 total units sold, down 1.9 per cent from May 2009.
Sales for the Nissan brand totaled 7,487 units in May, down 2.4 per cent from the same period last year, while the Infiniti brand accounted for 745 units sold, up almost four per cent from May 2009.
Versa, Sentra and Altima were the strongest sellers for the Nissan brand in May with 1,899, 1,701 and 1,489 units sold, respectively. 370Z had its best sales month since April 2004 with 158 units sold, up 45 per cent over May 2009.
Sales for the Infiniti brand were up 3.8 per cent from May 2009. The all-new 2011 Infiniti M had its best month since April 2007 with 76 units sold, up 280 per cent over the same month last year. Sales of FX and EX remained strong with increases of 59.7 and 5.2 per cent, respectively.
