Nissan Canada Inc. Announces Record Sales for June
MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 2 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today released its June 2010 sales figures with 8,057 units sold - up 8.6 per cent over 2009 and its best June sales results ever. For the first half of the year, sales for Nissan Canada are up 5.2 per cent over 2009.
Sales for the Nissan brand totaled 7,248 units in June, up 7.5 per cent from the same month last year, while the Infiniti brand accounted for 809 units sold, up over 19 per cent from June 2009.
Versa continues to be the strongest seller in the Nissan line-up, with 1,856 units sold in June, followed by Sentra and Altima with 1,679 and 1,136 units, respectively. Sales of Pathfinder and Titan increased 173.7 and 83 per cent, respectively, over the same month last year.
Sales for the Infiniti brand jumped 19.1 per cent in June with sales of the new Infiniti M up 220 per cent over June 2009. The G family continued to be the strongest seller in the Infiniti line-up with 485 units sold, up 23.4 per cent over June 2009.
