Nissan Canada Inc. Finishes Fiscal Year with Best-Ever March Sales for Both
Nissan and Infiniti Brands
MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 1 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today released its March 2010 sales figures, completing its fiscal year with the company's strongest March results ever with 8,617 total units sold, up 13.3 per cent from March 2009.
Sales for the Nissan brand totaled 7,729 units in March, up ten per cent from the same period last year, while the Infiniti brand accounted for 888 units sold, up nearly 53 per cent from March 2009. Both figures represent the strongest March sales to date for each brand.
Sentra led all Nissan model sales with its best-ever March, selling 1,887 units, up more than 27 per cent from the same period last year. Rogue also had a strong month with 1,346 units sold, up nearly 37 per cent and 370Z recorded a year-over-year increase of nearly 224 per cent with 123 units sold. Also recording strong monthly sales were Maxima, cube, Frontier, XTerra, Armada and Pathfinder.
Infiniti's best March on record was led by G, with 527 units sold, up 70 per cent from the same period last year. Infiniti's M, EX and FX also recorded year-over-year increases of nearly 42, 50 and 20 per cent respectively from March 2009.

- cube recorded its strongest month ever with 474 units sold
- For the Infiniti brand, G led the way with 527 units sold, up 70 per
cent from March 2009, while M, EX and FX also all recorded
year-over-over increases
