Nobel Prize Winner Supports Canadian Warnings on Cell Phones
TORONTO, Nov. 19 /CNW/ - Dr. Devra Davis PhD., author of "Disconnect - The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation", will lecture at the University of Toronto Monday supporting Ontario's proposed law to place warning labels on cell phones.
"The evidence is so strong that cell phones pose a risk to human health that even the manufacturers put these warnings in their manuals," said Davis.
Dr. Davis was the founding director of the Centre for Environmental Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. She was also a lead author on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and shares the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.
