Normand Legault completes his mandate for the Just for Laughs Group

MONTREAL, Feb. 18 /CNW Telbec/ - The Just for Laughs Group announces that Normand Legault has completed his term as Chairman of the Board and CEO of the company. The Group's founder, Gilbert Rozon, will take over in the interim.

For the past few months, Normand Legault has developed, in collaboration with the team in place, a long-term action plan for the company, which will run its course most notably through such major comedic, cultural and tourism events as the second edition of the TBS Presents a Very Funny Festival: Just for Laughs Chicago; the fourth edition of the Toronto Just for Laughs Festival Presented by Westjet; and the 28th Montreal Just for Laughs Festival presented by Videotron. The culmination of this plan will coincide with the presentation of the 30th anniversary Festival - to be held in Montreal in 2012.

The Just for Laughs Group wishes to thank Normand Legault for all the work he has done over the last three years (starting first as a member of the Board in 2007), during which he assisted the Group in its international development. The Just for Laughs Group team, based in Montreal, Paris, Los Angeles, Toronto and London, will implement this plan with strength and conviction.
