Taste of Toronto also invites guests to engage with top chefs and enjoy live food demonstrations, chef Q&As, interactive cooking classes, expert wine tastings, live music and other entertainment, in what is certain to be the social event of the summer.
"With over sixteen of the city's hottest chefs and restaurants confirmed so far, and more details to be announced very soon, we can feel the excitement building for the first-ever Taste of Toronto," said Justin Clarke, Managing Director, Taste Festivals. "We are counting down the days and are so thrilled to be launching Taste Festivals in North America at Toronto's Fort York."
"Since its launch as just one show in London, England in 2004, Taste Festivals have rapidly grown into a global phenomenon now held in 20 cities around the world including London, Sydney, Cape Town, Milan, Dubai and Moscow. Acquired by IMG in 2013, the growth of Taste Festivals around the world continues and Toronto was a natural choice to launch in North America with its rich culinary scene. We would like to thank the Government of Ontario, the City of Toronto and IMG Canada for their support in creating the Taste of Toronto" added Stephen Flint Wood, Senior Vice President, IMG.
