North Corridor GO Bus service improvements and changes starting Monday,
January 4

TORONTO , Dec. 21, 2009 /CNW/ - Starting Monday, January 4 , GO will add an extra trip to its Barrie-Bradford GO Bus service and make some changes to its Newmarket Hwy. 400 service and stops. A new weekday southbound bus will leave Aurora GO Station at 8:35 a.m. making a stop at the Aurora Rd. and Hwy. 404 carpool lot before running express to Union Station.

Some GO Newmarket Hwy. 400 weekday northbound and southbound bus trips will now make additional stops or will leave earlier, including:

    
    -   The weekday southbound bus trips leaving Newmarket GO Bus Terminal at
        6:20 a.m., 6:50 a.m., 7:20 a.m., and 7:50 a.m. will now stop at the
        Major Mackenzie and Hwy. 400 carpool lot.
    -   The weekday southbound bus trip that leaves Newmarket GO Bus Terminal
        at 6:35 a.m. will now stop at the Keele & Hwy. 401 at 7:25 a.m.
    -   The weekday northbound bus trip that leaves Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal
        at 4:35 p.m. will now leave five minutes earlier at 4:30 p.m. and
        will make a stop at the Major Mackenzie and Hwy. 400 carpool lot.
    -   The weekday northbound bus trip that leaves Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal
        at 4:50 p.m. will now leave five minutes earlier at 4:45 p.m. and
        will make a stop at Keele and Hwy. 401.
    -   The weekday northbound bus trip that leaves Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal
        at 5:05 p.m. will now leave five minutes earlier at 5:00 p.m. and
        will make a stop a Major Mackenzie and Hwy. 400.
    -   The weekday northbound bus trip that leaves Yorkdale GO Terminal at
        5:20 p.m. will now make a stop at Keele and Hwy. 401.
    -   The weekday northbound bus trip that leaves Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal
        at 5:55 p.m. will now leave five minutes earlier at 5:50 p.m. and
        make a stop at Keele and Hwy. 401.
    -   The weekday northbound bus trip that leaves Yorkdale GO Terminal at
        6:15 p.m. will now leave five minutes earlier at 6:10 p.m. and make a
        stop at Keele and Hwy. 401 and a stop at Major Mackenzie and Hwy. 400
        carpool lot.

    GO Transit is cancelling some southbound and northbound weekday trips,
including:

    -   The weekday southbound bus trips that leave Newmarket GO Bus Terminal
        for Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal at 7:35 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m.,
        2:40 p.m. 3:40 p.m., 4:40 p.m., and 8:10 p.m. have been cancelled.
    -   The weekday northbound bus trips that leave from Yorkdale GO Bus
        Terminal for Newmarket GO Bus Terminal at 6:55 a.m., 7:55 a.m., 9:30
        a.m., 11:25 a.m., 1:25 p.m., 4:20 p.m., 5:40 p.m., and 9: 25 p.m.
        have been cancelled.
