Northern Financial reports results of annual and special meeting of shareholders

TORONTO, Sept. 25, 2012 /CNW/ - Northern Financial Corporation (TSX: NFC) ("Northern" or the "Company") announced the election of the following Directors at its annual and special meeting of shareholders held today: Vic Alboini, William Grant, and John Reid.

Northern's shareholders appointed Grant Thornton LLP to serve as Northern's auditors. Shareholders also passed an ordinary resolution re-approving the Company's Employee Share Purchase Plan.
