Northern Transportation Company Limited and Canadian Merchant Service Guild reach a new collective agreement Français
Minister Leitch congratulates both parties
OTTAWA, July 27, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated the Northern Transportation Company Limited and the Canadian Merchant Service Guild on the renewal of their collective agreement.
The agreement was reached with assistance from the Labour Program's Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). The FMCS provides dispute resolution and dispute prevention assistance to trade unions and employers under the jurisdiction of the Canada Labour Code.

- The collective agreement covering 65 employees working in Canadian Arctic waters expired on December 31, 2014.
