Northstar Healthcare Announces Appointment of Jin Y. Pyun as Chief Marketing Officer

Northstar Welcomes New Officer with Outstanding Reputation in Healthcare Marketing

HOUSTON, TX, June 4, 2012 /CNW/ - Northstar Healthcare Inc. today announced that Jin Y. Pyun, member of the board of directors of Northstar, has joined Northstar as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Since his appointment to Northstar's board of directors last year, Mr. Pyun has actively assisted the company in developing its marketing strategy.  "Jin has a tremendous depth and breadth of knowledge in the offline and digital media marketing for professionals and consumers," said Dr. Donald Kramer, Northstar Healthcare Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer  "With Jin now joining Northstar full time, he will lead the effort to develop and implement Northstar's direct-to-consumer and channel marketing programs."

Prior to joining Northstar, Mr. Pyun was the Head of Health Categories at AOL and the Director of Strategic Development at WebMD.  In addition Mr. Pyun previously served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Remedy Media, an integrated health publisher.

Mr. Pyun has also served as an advisor to various startups and established companies, including Weber Shandwick (healthcare public relations) and Abt Associates (healthcare consulting).  In 2010 Jin Pyun founded MyBoosts.com a health and wellness motivation website dedicated to helping people achieve their personal goals by creating personalized incentives.  Mr. Pyun remains a board member and CEO of MyBoosts and sits on the board of directors for Carzen.com, a NYC-based consumer automotive research company.
