TORONTO, April 19, 2017 /CNW/ - The Office of the Secretary issued a Notice of Hearing setting the matter down to be heard on April 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. to consider whether, in the opinion of the Commission, it is in the public interest pursuant to subsections 127(1) and (5) of the Act, for the Commission to issue a temporary order that:

pursuant to paragraph 2 of subsection 127(1) of the Act, all trading in securities of Money Gate Mortgage Investment Corporation ("MGMIC") shall cease; |

| b) |
pursuant to paragraph 3 of subsection 127(1) of the Act, any exemptions contained in Ontario securities law do not apply to MGMIC, Money Gate Corp., Morteza Katebian and Payam Katebian; and |
|
| c) |
to make such other orders as the Commission considers appropriate. |
