Notice of Intention Regarding Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT

TORONTO, Aug. 25, 2023 /CNW/ - Northwest Value Partners Inc. ("NWVP"), wholly-owned by Paul Dalla Lana, announced that it highly supports the decision of Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT (the "REIT") that the REIT's board has established a strategic review committee whose mandate is to investigate strategic alternatives that could unlock future unitholder value. NWVP and its subsidiaries and control persons collectively hold an approximate 9.9% beneficial ownership interest in the REIT.  NWVP or its affiliates may acquire additional REIT securities through open market transactions, private agreements or otherwise.

NWVP continually evaluates the REIT's business, financial condition and prospects and its interest in, and intentions with respect to, the REIT and its investment in REIT securities. As the REIT's largest unitholder, NWVP intends to have ongoing engagement with the board and management, and in response to the announcement by the REIT, NWVP intends to participate in the REIT's strategic review process, and has made a proposal to the REIT regarding a strategic transaction, which may involve potential interested third parties. From time to time, NWVP may hold discussions with management, members of the board of trustees of the REIT, certain unitholders of the REIT and other persons regarding any such matter.
