VANCOUVER, Nov. 3, 2014 /CNW/ - The 46,000-member Hospital Employees' Union will hold its 29th Biennial Convention this week at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Vancouver, November 3 to 7.
Nearly 650 delegates will debate a number of resolutions and constitutional amendments as well as elect a new Provincial Executive to lead the union for the next two years.
Delegates will also be celebrating the 70th anniversary of the union, which was founded at Vancouver General Hospital in the fall of 1944.
