HALIFAX, NS, Jan. 24, 2025 /CNW/ - A face-to-face meeting of Federal, Provincial and Territorial (FPT) Ministers of Health will take place January 29 and 30, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The meeting will be co-chaired by the Honourable Mark Holland, Federal Minister of Health and the Honourable Michelle Thompson, Nova Scotia's Minister of Health and Wellness.
The Honourable Ya'ara Saks, Federal Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health, and the Honourable Brian Comer, Nova Scotia's Minister of Addictions and Mental Health will also attend.
On January 29, Minister Thompson will host provincial and territorial health ministers.
On January 30, Minister Holland and Thompson will co-chair the FPT meeting. A news conference will take place after this meeting.
Note: Media attending the news conference in person or via Zoom on January 30 must pre-register for mandatory accreditation by January 29, 2025 at 17:00 (AST).
