MONTREAL, Oct 6 /CNW Telbec/ - What is happening with the Quebec electronic health record (DSQ) project? Will electronic records ever see the light of day? Are some clinics and hospitals already using electronic records?
These questions will be answered at the Healthcare Information Systems Symposium organized by the Association québécoise d'établissements de santé et de services sociaux (AQESSS) and to be held on October 6, 7 and 8.
On the agenda:
- Examples of medical clinics and health and social services establishments that are switching to electronic health records;
- The Quebec Auditor General's opinion on the health system's computerization (Thursday, October 7 at 9:00 a.m.);
- Close to 100 companies showcasing the latest technological innovations in health and public services;
- An update on the Québec electronic health record (DSQ) project from the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (Thursday at 4:15 p.m.).
The Healthcare Information Systems Symposium-Exhibition brings together almost 1,000 people and is geared to health professionals, IT managers, managers of health and social services establishments, and doctors.
