Notice to the media - The Governments of Canada and Northwest Territories will announce new measures to strengthen responses to drug and substance use issues

YELLOWKNIFE, Jan. 17, 2019 /CNW/ - On behalf of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, federal Minister of Health, Michael McLeod, Member of Parliament, and the Honourable Glen Abernethy, Minister of Health and Social Services, Northwest Territories, will announce funding for a new public education campaign offering clear, consistent and evidence-based health and safety facts about cannabis.

MP McLeod and Minister Abernethy will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
