Postmedia Network eliminates publisher role at all 10 dailies
By Tamara Baluja

Canada's only investigative centre shutting down
By Edward Tubb
With only five years under its belt, Canada's only non-profit investigative centre announced last week it is closing its doors. By Joshua Rapp
Learn With many students beginning their summer internships this week, J-Source takes a look at their job prospects. An internship is often the golden ticket to scoring a job in journalism. By Paul Knox
With competitive pressure, tight deadlines and zero tolerance of inaccuracy, news reporting was never a low-stress occupation. Spirit Dancing: How two UBC students gained access to report on this secretive Aboriginal tradition
By Rachel Bergen and Stephanie Kelly
The relationship between media and First Nations peoples in Canada has not always been a positive one. And in many ways, two UBC students say they felt they were paying for the mistakes made by reporters who came before came. They reported on the secretive tradition of spirit dancing in B.C. Their radio documentary is one part of a week-long series prepared by UBC students and airing on CBC's The Early Edition in Vancouver.
