NPR Announces Management Changes

CALGARY, Sept. 4, 2012 /CNW/ - Northern Property Real Estate Investment Trust and NorSerCo Inc. (TSX: NPR.UN) (together, "NPR") announced management changes today.

The REIT's Chief Financial Officer, Mr. David E. Leiman, is leaving NPR to pursue other opportunities.  NPR President and CEO Jim Britton said, "Dave has made important contributions to the REIT in the past few years and we wish him every success in his future endeavours."

Mr. Todd Cook, C.A., Executive Vice President, has been designated interim Chief Financial Officer effective immediately.  He will serve in this capacity as well as carrying out his corporate responsibilities as the REIT's Executive Vice President while an executive search for a permanent CFO is being conducted. Mr. Cook served as the REIT's Chief Financial Officer between 2006 and 2010 prior to being promoted to Executive Vice President with responsibility for NPR's real estate operations.
