Nuance Communications Files Application to Cease to Be a Reporting Issuer in Canada
BURLINGTON, MA, Feb. 16, 2016 /CNW/ - Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) today announced that it has applied to the Alberta Securities Commission, the Ontario Securities Commission, and Autorité des marchés financiers for a decision that Nuance is not a reporting issuer for purposes of Alberta, Ontario and Quebec securities law.
An order from the securities authorities from Alberta, Ontario and Quebec that Nuance is not a reporting issuer in such jurisdictions will not affect Nuance's reporting obligations in jurisdictions outside of Canada. If the order is granted, Nuance will no longer be a reporting issuer in any jurisdiction of Canada.
