TORONTO, Aug. 28, 2015 /CNW/ - OASIS wishes to extend warm public congratulations to MPP Christine Elliott on her final day as an elected member.
Ms. Elliott's work on the Select Committee on Developmental Services, the building of the Abilities Centre in Whitby, and her commitment to people with an intellectual disability, have made her a true champion for ensuring that Ontario's most vulnerable are given the same opportunities as every citizen.
"Ms. Elliott's unyielding commitment to public service, and championing of improvements to developmental services in Ontario, have made her a valued partner for many years," said David Barber, OASIS President. "We look forward to continuing a dialogue with Ms. Elliott on these important issues as she transitions to a private life, and wish her well in her future endeavours".
