TORONTO, Oct. 23, 2014 /CNW/ - Today, Ontario Agencies Supporting Individuals with Special Needs (OASIS) stands united and strong with the Government of Canada in their efforts to preserve the freedom of democracy. We deeply respect the sacrifice that our elected members of Parliament are prepared to make including their very lives, to defend our liberties. We are profoundly grateful that the men and women who serve in our military, our police forces and our public service place the security of the people of Canada above their own personal safety.
We extend our sincere condolences to those individuals and their families who have made the ultimate sacrifice today and who have suffered grievous injury, on our behalf. God bless you. May Wednesday, October 22, 2014 remain in our history, a day of remembrance for those who stood for Canada.
Today, people with an intellectual disability are more than ever, strongly united with our community. We are stronger because we are one, together.
