OEB announces 2010 electricity distribution rates for 7 utilities
TORONTO, April 16 /CNW/ - Today the Ontario Energy Board (the Board) announced 2010 electricity distribution rates for the following utilities:
- Canadian Niagara Power Inc. - Eastern Ontario Power - Canadian Niagara Power Inc. - Port Colborne - Canadian Niagara Power Inc. - Fort Erie - Grimsby Power Incorporated - Horizon Utilities Corporation - Kenora Hydro Electric Corporation Ltd. - Northern Ontario Wires
The impact on the delivery line of consumer bills will range from a decrease of 18% to an increase of 14.2% for residential customers using 800 kWh per month. The delivery line makes up approximately one-third of the total bill. The distribution rates take effect May 1, 2010.
