OEB issues rate order on electricity distribution rates for Dutton Hydro
service area
TORONTO, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - Today the Ontario Energy Board (the Board) issued a Rate Order to reflect its Decision on electricity distribution rates for Middlesex Power Distribution Corporation's (Middlesex) Dutton Hydro Service area (Dutton). The application was for rate adjustments relating to 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. The new rates are effective March 1, 2010.
As a result of this Rate Order, the portion of the bill associated with the cost to distribute electricity for a typical residential customer using 1,000 kWh per month will increase by approximately $8.42 per month.
