OES invites Kingston area residents to drop off unwanted electronics this

KINGSTON, ON, May 6 /CNW/ - Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) invites Kingston area residents to drop off electronic waste this Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic School. Staff will be on site to collect used, broken or unwanted electronic equipment for responsible and safe reuse and recycling. This keeps hazardous electronic waste out of landfill which leads to a greener, healthier environment. The event is being hosted St. Paul's Catholic School in partnership with Scott Environmental Group and St. Lawrence College School of Business.

Accepted Items: Audio/video players and recorders (DVD and VCR), cameras, cell phones, computers and peripherals, copiers, digital cameras, fax machines, monitors, pagers and PDAs, printers, radios, scanners, speakers, telephones and answering machines, tuners, televisions, and video projectors.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to St. Paul's Catholic School to help build a new playground.
