MAJOR ARTISTIC AND FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS ON THIS WEEK'S AGENDA!
MONTREAL, Aug. 4, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The Society for the Celebration of Montréal's 375th Anniversary invites you to attend a series of grand events this week! On Saturday, August 5, a jubilant and artistic gathering – known as Nova Stella, The art of being different together – will kick off in the Place des Festivals, putting the spotlight on local artists from all backgrounds. This one-of-a-kind event is a chance for Montrealers to discover the many talents that have the very pulse of our city. Electronic music lovers are invited to attend the Session375 X ÎleSoniq En Ville, on August 10. Montrealers can experience this free outdoor session in the heart of Griffintown right on the Lachine Canal, including live performances and two giant dance floors!
Lastly, La Grande Tournée sets up camp at Ahuntsic Park this weekend. Tons of activities have been planned so that Montrealers can make the most of the summer weather, all the while discovering our city's many charms and secrets!

PARC BELMONT 2017: Parc Belmont mobile
Ahuntsic-Cartierville residents can create their own carnival in parks around the borough with the MOBILE BELMONT PARK: a peddler's truck of yesteryear decorated with carnival colors and full of bazaar games reminiscent of Belmont Park as well as outdoor cinema equipment.

La Grande Tournée – Ahuntsic-Cartierville
A major 375th event, La Grande Tournée, presented by Cirque Éloize, will be travelling from one end of the city to the other all summer long to celebrate its history and its people, have fun and live it up in our communities. It will give everyone who loves Montréal the chance to discover the city's charms and secrets, celebrate with their families and get to know their neighbours. The fun will also spill out onto an adjacent street or back alley where other events also await.

Montreal International Triathlon
The City of Montreal will host the 7th stage of the prestigious ITU World Triathlon Series on August 5 and 6, 2017. On this occasion, a section of the Old Montreal and the Old Port will be transformed into a course for the best triathletes on earth as well as hundreds of amateur participants
