On Wednesday, April 29, shomi™ celebrates National Canadian Film Day with a great lineup of Canadian movies – not those films where Toronto stands in for Chicago, but movies that are actually set here, with our own stories, Canadian mailboxes, colourful Canadian money, and even Canadian police cars! Now in its second year, National Canadian Film Day will be marked with special screenings and events at theatres, libraries, schools, and broadcasters across the country. Proudly Canadian and movie-loving, shomi's onboard with a 10-title Collection called "Northern Lights: A Celebration of Canadian Film."
