TORONTO, Jan. 8, 2024 /CNW/ - Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation (OLG) and the Toronto Raptors are excited to support four community organizations that are changing people's lives through basketball – and all Ontarians are invited to get in on the action.
Each organization focuses on providing positive, inclusive and empowering spaces. Through the Home Court Advantage campaign, OLG and the Toronto Raptors are helping these groups share their inspirational stories and raise awareness about the profound impact they are making on their communities.
From January to March, fans can support their organization of choice by playing the free Home Court Advantage game through the Toronto Raptors App. For every play, OLG and the Toronto Raptors will make a donation to the following organizations:
- January 8 to January 23: Vipers Wheelchair Basketball, Burlington
- January 24 to February 9: Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario, Sudbury
- February 22 to March 10: Abilities Centre, Whitby
- March 11 to March 27: Mega City Basketball, Mississauga
"OLG is proud to team up with the Toronto Raptors to support organizations that make a meaningful difference," says Maxine Chapman, VP Brand & Marketing Officer at OLG. "Every play with OLG is a winning one, because 100 per cent of our profits go back to local communities, including home courts like these. This is just one way we are helping Ontarians bring home the win."
"Recognizing the power of sport to bring people together, we are proud to amplify the voices of community builders through the Home Court Advantage program," says Jordan Vader, Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships, MLSE. "Together with our partner OLG, we continue to innovate on unique campaigns that both entertain our fans and give back to those pushing the game we love even further at a grassroots level."
