Leading Long-Term Care Provider Celebrates Top 100 Employer Award

VANCOUVER , Oct. 8 /CNW/ - Abacus Private Equity is pleased to announce that OMNI Health Care has been named one of the best employers in Canada in Mediacorp Canada's prestigious "Canada's Top 100 Employers 2010" competition.

OMNI Health Care is wholly owned by Abacus Private Equity, and is responsible for the management of Abacus' seniors living business in Canada .

Now in its 10th year, the annual list is hosted by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and published by Maclean's magazine and The Globe and Mail. The recruitment histories of more than 75,000 employers across Canada were reviewed and 16,000 were invited to apply, plus another 8,000 companies in industries Mediacorp wanted to examine more closely. Employers completed an extensive application process with a detailed review of operations and HR practices.
