EDMONTON, Dec. 17 /CNW/ - Starting this weekend, a fleet of TELUS branded taxis will storm the streets of Edmonton offering free rides and phone calls to anyone--whether they are last minute shoppers or holiday party-goers. From December 18 to December 25, ten TELUS branded taxis cruise Edmonton's downtown between 11 am and 11 pm. "The last week of before the Holidays is hectic, holiday shoppers have their hands full between social commitments and picking out that perfect gift for their love ones. We want to help make the holiday rush a little easier for Edmontonians with a stress-free ride on us," said Anne-Marie Laberge, vice president, Marketing Communications, TELUS Customer Solutions. "For me the holiday season is also a time to share with my family and friends. We thought that a free chat on TELUS' 3G+ network while being driven home would be a great opportunity to connect and share some holiday joy."
