One Earth Farms announces the acquisition of Sweetpea Baby Food

TORONTO, Sept. 11, 2013 /CNW/ - One Earth Farms Corp. ("One Earth Farms") announced today that it has acquired Toronto-based baby food brand Sweetpea Baby Food Ltd. ("Sweetpea").

Sweetpea markets a range of frozen baby food and baby snacks across Canada. The business was born in 2004 when lifelong friends Eryn Green and Tamar Wagman searched for healthy alternatives to regular baby food for their young children. Finding the options limited, they started Sweetpea with a range of frozen organic meal options and age appropriate snack solutions for babies and toddlers.

Both Eryn and Tamar will stay on with the business to help shape the future of the brand and to ensure that their legacy continues.
