TORONTO, Feb. 18 /CNW/ - The ONEXONE Foundation announced they again participated in a humanitarian relief flight to Haiti. This week's mission to Haiti marked the 6th time members of the ONEXONE Foundation have traveled to the country to distribute much needed aid since Haiti's devastating earthquake last month.
"Thanks to the generous contributions from the Canadian public and our partners, including Air Canada and Aircastle Limited, ONEXONE is helping to provide hope to Haiti" said Joelle (Joey) Adler, founder of ONEXONE. The timely and frequent delivery of shelter, food, water and medication over the course of six flights in less than a month, has assisted Partners in Health to continue to do their vital work. ONEXONE must also thank Apotex for their unwavering support and donations of medical supplies, we could not do it without them" Adler said.
Since January 16, ONEXONE has provided over seventy percent of the 200 tons of supplies, almost half a million pounds of cargo, that have been sent to Haiti on these six Air Canada flights. With the kind donation from Canadian Tire and over two million dollars in medication from Apotex, ONEXONE has sent the following items to Haiti:
Medical supplies: dressings, needles, IVs, IV solution, boxes of syringes, and bottles of antimicrobial product, blankets, Woods 4-person tents, sleeping bags, flashlights and batteries and Aquafina water.

About Partners in Health
The PIH Vision: Whatever it takes
At its root, our mission is both medical and moral. It is based on solidarity, rather than charity alone. When a person in Peru, or Siberia, or rural Haiti falls ill, PIH uses all of the means at our disposal to make them well-from pressuring drug manufacturers, to lobbying policy makers, to providing medical care and social services. Whatever it takes. Just as we would do if a member of our own family-or we ourselves-were ill. www.standwithhaiti.org/haiti
