Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors - Press release
TORONTO, May 2, 2012 /CNW/ - May 7-13, 2012 is Naturopathic Medicine Week in Ontario. Across the province, members of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) will be hosting events that will provide new insights into their unique, natural approaches to health.
As part of Naturopathic Medicine Week, the OAND is pleased to present Change Your Health ~ Change Your Life, a speaking engagement with Natasha Turner, ND, taking place on May 9, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto.
Natasha is a leading naturopathic doctor and the best-selling author of The Hormone Diet and The Super-Charged Hormone Diet. In support of Naturopathic Medicine Week, Natasha will present her new book, The Carb Sensitivity Program. Her book presents a healthy and sustainable plan to discover which carbs will curb your cravings, control your appetite, and banish belly fat. A key issue facing so many is how to reduce belly fat, not just to feel better, but also to reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
People attending Change Your Health ~ Change Your Life will have a chance to meet Natasha and ask questions at a book signing after her talk. Local naturopathic doctors will also be available before and after Natasha's lecture. This event will be an excellent chance to speak with experts about natural health and the benefits of seeing a naturopathic doctor. Tickets are available through the Roy Thomson Hall box office.
This event is supported in part by Douglas Laboratories and Tonic Magazine.
