Ontario Brokers Well Versed on New Provincial Automotive Regulations
TORONTO, Sept. 1 /CNW/ - Today, the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) want to advise customers of the new provincial automobile insurance regulations that were enacted this morning. Ontario brokers have been preparing for these new regulations over the past five months in anticipation for changes coming into effect today.
Brokers have been active in ensuring they are organized and ready to educate their customers and community on how the new regulations will affect their insurance coverage. IBAO member brokers have also adjusted some of their internal brokerage operations to better respond and communicate with their clients.
"It is important that Ontarians are made aware of these new auto insurance reforms in order to best understand how their coverages will be affected," stated IBAO's Chief Executive Officer, Randy Carroll. "Brokers have been educating themselves for months on the new changes. Consumers should feel free to get in touch with their local broker for more information."
Numerous consumer education and communication materials are expected to be distributed by IBAO brokers to Ontario policyholders over the next 12 months in efforts to inform the public on the new changes. These brokerage efforts showcase their value as professionals in the insurance industry on being highly educated in all facets of the new auto insurance regulations.
