Ontario College of Trades launches online survey
College offers opportunity to provide feedback on membership fees
TORONTO, May 4, 2012 /CNW/ - The Ontario College of Trades is setting out to do what has not been done in this country before - create an organization where those in the skilled trades speak for themselves and shape their own future.
The College gives ownership of the skilled trades training and certification system to its members.
With ownership come rights and responsibilities - the right to regulate the trades and the responsibility to fund the regulatory association.
In keeping with its commitment to transparency, the College is asking for comments on the proposed membership fees through an online survey now posted on its website at: www.collegeoftrades.ca .
The College encourages all of its stakeholders, including employers, employees, apprentices and members of the public to provide their feedback on this very important issue.
QUICK FACTS
- The Ontario College of Trades represents more than 150 skilled trades - tradespersons, apprentices and employers - across the province.
