Ontario college students request platform information from political parties
TORONTO, May 20, 2014 /CNW/ - On May 16th, 2014 the College Student Alliance asked the leaders of Ontario's Green Party, Liberal Party, New Democratic Party and the Progressive Conservative Party to provide information regarding their party's platform in relation to student priorities. More specifically, they were asked to provide their platform as it relates to the following subjects: accessibility, accountability, affordability, quality and transferability.
"We are inviting the leaders of the party's to provide us with platform information that may affect Ontario college students in this election," says Curtis Bell President of the College Student Alliance. "This information will be available on our website and allow each party to show students where they are being considered."
The College Student Alliance has given the party's until May 26th to provide students with information before the June 12th election.
