	James Ryan, OECTA President, will be speaking to the AGM delegation regarding the Association's decision to seek a strike mandate in response to the initial proposal from the government and the Ontario Catholic School Trustees' Association (OCSTA).

More than 800 participants will attend the Annual General Meeting as representatives of OECTA's 45,000 members. Over the course of the three-day meeting, delegates will elect Provincial Executive members for the 2015-16 year and attend to the business of the Association.

OECTA represents the more than 45,000 professional women and men who teach all grades in publicly funded English Catholic schools in Ontario.
